I found this piece interesting. The author has a point; even if the leader of the Liberals is a hard right ideologue, there may well be people among the rank and file that would be willing to provide support on NDP initiatives. This is Chretien's old party after all, and Martin's, and Trudeau's. But certainly I also see the current Conservatives (and their leader) as far less worrying than the Liberal Leader.
